John has been a Tennis Professional for 22 years. From 2001 to 2009 he worked as a tennis professional at the prestigious Toronto Lawn Tennis Club under Tennis Director Simon Bartram (present director of tennis at Tennis   Canada). There he headed the tots program and was the tennis camp director.  Working  in the high performance junior program he able to help numerous juniors achieve tennis scholarships to US schools. He also helped  run adult clinics and camps and maintained a loyal following of private clients.

From 1994 to 1997 he was a coach in the All Canadian Tennis Academy at the National Tennis Centre.  There he worked with National Junior players in the top level performance academy.   He was part of the original mini tennis revolution, introducing the new balls and nets to juniors across Ontario.

From 1990-1999 he worked as a tennis professional at The Boulevard Club. There I learned the social side of tennis with a focus on social round robin’s, adult clinics and fun pro am events.

John joins us this season bringing his expertise to our junior and adult programming.  He will be there to help you, whether you just want to hit (hitting lessons) or improve your game through traditional lessons.  He will also be helping out with our adult group lessons.
