Getting to Know Kerry

Kerry has been teaching tennis professionally for 37 years, coaching players of all levels including touring professionals. He is certified professional both in the U.S. (Pro 2) and in Canada (Coach 2). This is his eighth season as Head Tennis Professional. He is a contributing writer of instructional articles to the tennis web magazine, His career as a competitor started 39 years ago. Coming late to the game (14 yrs old), Kerry stills enjoys competitive playing at many levels (A’s, opens and seniors). He played 2 seasons of junior college tennis and a season of Division 1 college tennis at San Jose State University in San Jose, California. Over the years he has been ranked at various levels from 4.5 to the Open level. As a senior player he has been nationally ranked in the U.S. and Canada. He was ranked #1 in singles nationally in Canada for 2008, 2009 and in 2013. He has won three Canadian Senior National Outdoor singles titles in 2008, 2009 and again last summer (2013). In 2009 and 2012 he added the National Doubles title to the list of his playing accomplishments. He is looking forward to again working with all of you to achieve your individual goals.
